Writing had always been a release for Hanako. Just as reading was an escape from the dreary routine of every day when she was younger, her stories became therapeutic. She began writing the ripe age of twelve in a broken-down dog house in her backyard with an old journal from her dad. However, it was not until she was fifteen that she began publishing that same story in her notebook on Amazon. From there, she posted her new works one chapter at a time on apps like Wattpad, Inkitt, and Webnovel. Her pen name was created from the first part of her middle name and her grandfather's surname.
Outside of writing, Hanako has been pursuing a career in the criminal justice field. Just as her writing helps her and many others, she hopes to help others. She had not always been sure of a specific career goal, but as long as she is helping others up, she is happy.
Her first series was the Savior Series which entailed the struggle of teens to find their purpose while they explore a whole new realm. Her work speaks to those who do not feel heard, seen, or understood. They assure those unsure about their futures and encourage her readers to revisit the complex emotions they felt as kids.
